I believe it's an orchid of some sort...
Reply:Take a picture of the book cover or the book itself with you to the florist and they will be able to identify it for you. Sounds like they might be a lily of some sort and they are expecially beautiful in bouquets. Good Luck and have a wonderful day.
Reply:I couldn't find anything on what type they are... but I did find a site that describes it as 'Indonesian flower art'.... %26amp; another that just says 'flower petals', so it's possible that they used more than one type of flower...
