it cups in in the center it only blooms for a day and grew from a bulb

I have this flower it is red with three petals and leopard print center red and yellow what is it?
It is a Tigridia pavonia.
Reply:This a Tiger flower or Tigridia Pavonia. It is a very showy plant and you get a succession of short lived flowers in early/mid summer.
Reply:One of my favourites..the Tiger Lily. They have wide reed like foliage that grow to 3-4fthigh. Beautiful flowers.

Reply:could be tiger flower or Mexican shell flower. Belongs to the iris family. I think husband keeps in pot, puts outside in warm weather when they are about to flower, rest of time keeps in greenhouse.
