What type of flowers would be the best to get a friend (girl) for her birthday?

Need to get a present for a friend tomorrow, thought flowers might be a good idea, was thinking half a dozen yellow roses?

What type of flowers would be the best to get a friend (girl) for her birthday?
yellow roses are lovely although a mixed bouquet look livlier

Reply:Why worry about what every other girl wants? What does your friend want? Find out and get her just that - when are people going to get it - we girls are not the same -we don't even look alike, so YEP we want different things too!!!
Reply:I always go with a bouquet of wildflowers or mixed flowers. They tend to last longer and then you can always include a why in the card like, "these flowers remind me of the many colors of who you are, don't ever change as it is one of the many reasons why I love having you as my friend."

For what a 1/2 dozen roses would cost you can get twice as many flowers in a mixed or wildflower bouquet.
Reply:Try pink or red roses, funny I think yellow flowers mean jealosy or something daft like that. Play it safe lots of different shades of pink and red .

Reply:I think roses are ugly and smell really bad but that's just me. and they also are very much overrated, and expensive.

In my opinion I would get her a Lilly or tulips, something different than the norm to show her how much you like her.
