Reply:mail order is the best bet. Besides Michigan Bulb, I also you Spring Hill Nurseries. I have seen them in both catalogs and they guarantee all their plants.

Reply:Go to gardenweb.com and look up your state and see if they are having a spring plant swap on the exchange forum, you dont even have to have plants some people will swap for mulch, pots and other garden tools.
Reply:Check your local garden centers, they are sold as red hot pokers but also as torch lilies. You can get them bareroot at Walmart and they will grow fine if you get them this way.

There are several varieties, some do better than others. I'd see if you can find them at any local greenhouses or growers. Plant Delights has some nice, unusual plants and have been great to buy from, and so is Brent %26amp; Becky bulbs
Reply:I have purchased them in Flagstaff, AZ at an area nursery. I've seen them in N. Ca too but never set out to purchase them.

I've found the seed packets on the racks in the area stores but from personal experience it's a waste of time and money to try and grow them from seed where Ilive. Too hot.

Three links provided below where you can order them. Buy one get one free deal going on and it appears they have the same deal and same price. Michigan Bulb has the best shipping rate but it's difficult to tell if the quantity is the same as the other two.
