I have a canary yellow prom dress and am wondering what color and type of flower is recommended with this color dress. my date is wearing an all white tux with matching yellow colored vest and tie.
I dont want white roses because its too common.
any helpful suggestions welcomed. please no negative comments.

Try something really colorful though but no carnations. Carnations are filler flowers.

i think they went with a white flower with a yellow ribbon and accents by it or it was a yellow flower like the dress

Reply:You could do light green or pink (I personally hate red and yellow together so I wouldn't pick red). You could do a shade of purple, as yellow and purple are complimentary colors.
