Bees do not usually visit flowers of what color?

red, blue, yellow, purple or all

Bees do not usually visit flowers of what color?
red

most red flowers dont attract bees,
Reply:all flowers get visits from one buzzy critter or another... if not bees, then wasps... or flies... or gnats....or birds!!!

and red is the color of bee balm, so that's not true up there....

if you are looking to plant something that doesn't interest bees, look to foliage plants more than flowering ones....

here's a good compilation...

and, with many plants, like hosta and coleus, it's very simple to just remove the flowering stalks before they tempt bees and it doesn't hurt the plant at all, either..... just gotta be willing to do a little fiddlin' in the garden!!!
Reply:yellow and red are there favorite summer flowers and in the spring they go to any one avalible.

basically they go to the flowers that are the most outstanding in color and size.

this is the same for humming birds and butterflies
Reply:I don't beleive they have a color preference.Red and Yellow attract bees.
