Whats wrong with my cucumber plants they arent producing cucumbers?

i have a huge cucumber vine growing with lots of blooming yellow flowers..but i havent had one cucumber to grow yet....i have plenty of other plants that are producing vegetables, except this one?? any suggestions?

Whats wrong with my cucumber plants they arent producing cucumbers?
you may have just a MALE plant! you know how we men are around the "babies"! no joking,, it could be male,, and also you may be over feeding (fertilizing)! always plant 3 seeds together to insure both sexes grow!
Reply:That's preposterous. A single cucumber plant has both male and female flowers. Report It
Reply:Once the flowers die and fall off the cukes should be there. They will be small at first.Cukes are usually last to come up unless you planted very early. If they flowered the cukes shouldn't be far behind. If the plants dried out too often they will flower but not produce, too much stress on the plant. Water two or three times a week unless it doesn't rain. Also try a good vegetable fertilizer with watering's like MIRACLE GROW.

Good luck.
Reply:They could have too much fertilizer. Fertilizer causes the blooms but no fruit.

Reply:I'm curious too. I have two young ones that are blooming nicely so you may just need to be patient.

Look up your local agriculture supplier or nursery and ask if they carry organic fertilizers. They may have ones with NPK 6-6-6 or an 8-8-8. You want less nitrogen (N) and more phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) which aids in getting more and better fruit and veggies.

Nitrogen aids the vegative growth but you (and I) would rather have your plants working at making more and better cucumbers rather than working on being bigger plants.

The 6-6-6 fertilizer I use is derived from feather meal, steamed bone meal, potassium sulfate and gysum which are all found naturally. It's hard to over fertilize with it and it'll work for your whole garden

If you are a real 'go getter' then they can be found sold separately and mix your own - a little cheaper.

Aloha
Reply:In addition to the other advice, please be advised that if you let a cucumber fruit get too big (such that the seeds inside harden), that plant will stop producing. So be certain to find all of the cucumbers and pick them before they get large.
Reply:Be patient with lots of yellow blooms you'll be fine
