My friend's mom called it 'sheep's breath', but I can't find it under that name on the internet. It look like a 3-leaf clover, but smoother and the leaflets are kind of heart-shaped. It has little yellow flowers, and tastes kind of lemony.
What plant looks like a 3-leaf clover and taste lemony?
Hmm...Does this look right?

Wood Sorrel
Also called yellow oxalis, sheep sorrel and yellow sourgrass. It is found in open woods, prairies, ravines, stream banks, and lawns
I loved these when I was little
Reply:if you dont know what something is why are you eating it
Reply:Sounds a lot like Oxalis or wood sorrel. While they are tasty in an occasional salad, I read that the oxalic acid that makes them taste sour can be damaging over time.
Reply:Only lemony one I eat is lemon thyme, but that doesn't seem to fit the leafs. Try asking the Atl. Botanical Garden at
