The leaves look like a hibiscus,it has small yellow flowers and the seed pods look like japanese lanterns only they are green instead of red. Thank you in advance for any of your answers.
I have a plant that I do not know what it is?
The first link is a picture of a light yellow looking (to me) flower with green lantern type pods. Definitely not a Japanese lantern but as close as I could find! The plant is a
HELLEBORUS.
The second link talks about the plant and has pictures of the various species. You have to scroll down to see them all but you might find the one you have. I didn't go through the entire page but did see a couple that may qualify from your description.
Good luck!
Reply:abutilon = flowering maple. if it has thorns then it may be a gooseberry
Reply:Could it be this? I found out on some websites that the flowers are yellow, not white...
