How long until I have tomatoes?

I have a patio tomatoe that i received for Mother's Day this year. It says fruit will appear in 70 days of maturity.

I t was 70 days on July 22. It has 25 yellow flowers on it and the plant is 4 feet tall. I fertilize it with Miracle-Grow for Tomatoes. How long will it be before I get any tomatoes??

sounds like it is a type that requires a second plant to get proper pollination. in that case you will not get any fruit from that plant. If you do not have small fruit developing, either it requires a pollinator plant or the blooms are not being pollinated.

Reply:it should have tomatoes soon. some plants will take longer to mature then others and if you keep fertilizing it you will have tomatoes pretty soon.
Reply:first, stop using that miracle grow immediately. it is a steroid, and even though it says it's made for tomatoes, it will NOT do your tomato any good. also, those yellow flowers you see will be turning into tomatoes shortly. wherever you have a flower you will have a tomato. however, because you used that miracle gro on it, the plant might stress out because it has so many flowers. unless it's a determinate variety, that is. even so, you'll soon have tomatoes, but i'm not sure they won't have miracle gro in them..... :-/
