How do I get rid of garlic mustard (weeds) in my yard; and keep them from coming back?
Two ways.Either spray with Roundup weedkiller,or cover weeds with black plastic,weedmatting,or an old tarpaulin. This will kill off the weeds.
Reply:You may want to just mow them down with a weed eater, or pull them, when the first flowerbuds show. They are biennials, and are programmed to die after blooming, so leaving the roots is fine, so long as you remove the flowers and prevent seed formation. Do this every year faithfully, and you will be rid of them.
