This tree or shrub is along the avenue near where I live and there is green foliage close to the top and then it has yellow flowers that from far away look like Astilbe.
Anyone have any idea the name of this tree?

Could be one of hundreds. What the shape of the leaf?
How would you describe the bark? What region do you live in?
Reply:Ah, hard to say. There is a yellow lilac but you don't see that often. Could be a wisteria tree? Without more info it's just hard to say but you could take a leave to your local nursery and they would tell you.
