we have a pretty mini-looking abuliton with yellow/orange flowers, and want to grow more. Can it be propagated easily from the plant cuttings or from the flower? Please provide details.
How do I propagate abuliton (flowering maple) plant?
3-4" cuttings in early summer, rooted in always-damp sand. Or air layering. Air layering is easier, but you'll get a lot of questions about it. %26lt;g%26gt;

Reply:I have tried doing plant cuttings but with no luck. They either dry out or are too moist and rot. Maybe I'm doing it at the wrong time of year, or wrong type of cutting. The link above looks like it should help.
